Whats wrong with Obamacare "the affordable healthcare act"
Whats not wrong with it. It is called the affordable healthcare act, and so far all it has done is drive up prices, force companies to cut workers hours, and attempt to fine the people who couldnt afford it to start with. It should be called the keep a brother down act. I know a 21 year old girl no kids and single whose workplace cut her to 30 hours because of this now she made slightly over minimum wage x 30 hours her "AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE" is going to cost her $800 mo.so lets at least hope she makes $10/hr. she will get $300 a weekx 4.3 about $1300 a month. now take away federal taxes, state tax (ohio is 3.5%) local( my town is 1.5) and she brings home about $1100 a month. Now she has to buy cloths, you cant work naked, gas, and auto insurance and food lets be conservative and say $300 a month. everything else has to go to healthcare insurance God forbid she actually gets sick she has nothing left for deductables, tires, oilchange, education, vacation, a home, utilities. Now some people say minimum wage jobs are for kids and retired people supplementing SSI, and that is the way it should be but the government keeps allowing the flooding of our job market with illegal, or recently made legal aliens that will work for minimum wage and it allows companies the ability to offer minimum wage and get workers so if americans want to work they need to settle for these low paying jobs, They let the good paying jobs leave america for cheep labor and dont charge terrifs on them.and both parties like to tell us at different times that they created xxxxx new jobs this month but they wont tell you the jobs lost were 50k or more a year and the ones created were 20-25k or less.I used to be a big Dem but I realized that the Dems are at their most powerful when the people are in need of the government to help them , so it started to make sense to me that they strive to make more people depend on them so they can have the votes, (they are strong when we are weak). Obamacare will weaken so many that we could become a welfare nation. It is an endless cycle the more people who qualify for assistance means the more it costs everyone else, which in turn makes some of those need assistance etc...How can the government say they will fine americans who dont have healthcare, it that not discrimination! hear me out are they going to fine the homeless that will get taken to the hospital and treated for free, or the illegals . NO they will not be fined but those people dont get treated for free it is paid for by us, its why we cant afford healthcare because we pay for them , and then WE can get fined??? if they can not prove that they will fine the illegals and homeless then is it not discrimination if they fine me or you??? I am trying to get our country back , back to the freedom our fathers fought for. Please donate if you can and together we can get honest, folks elected that could not afford it alone. whats wrong with-update
well its been 4 months since my last post and I have been very busy I read one of the books from my site titled "lies the government told you" although its not the most exciting read it did have some very good points if you can get past the first few chapters and the book along with some recent news on a candadate and how they have been trying to get some secrets brought to light I think Ron Paul will be my choice also due to our governments increasingly obvious theift of our rights and spending of our money I have been researching survival techniques and storing survival gear in order to ensure my family can eat when our financial system collapses I still plan on making trade policy my next post and hope to see you then

whats wrong with my "weekly" blog
everyone I still plan on doing trade policies next but have ran into a few snags started a new job with longer hours plus I coach football and am the athletic director and my mouse is not working well so I am on a laptop .I am still researching the topic I am just a little behind and should have more time after my last football game next weekend so 2 more weeks and we should be back up and running

Whats wrong with- immigration laws and policies
Up till recently the policy of our nation was if someone was caught here illegally we would ship them home to where they came from. Then politics got in the way. The Republicans wanted cheap labor for their big corperate sponsers and the Dems wanted more low income people that would vote for them in exchange for government handouts.
Dont get me wrong what made this country great is its diversity and there is nothing wrong with someone coming to this country to make a better life for their families but there are LEGAL ways of doing it, and to add to that we should only allow it after we ensure there are jobs for all our current residents.
some stories in the news over the last 10 years that our politicians endorse have been destirbing to say the least. New york wanted to make it legal for illegal aliens to get drivers lisences for example.
Illegal aliens are destroying those of us that belong here's right of life,liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Our healthcare costs are extreamly high due to the hospitals taking losses on all the illegal aliens free medical. Its becoming difficult for an American to make a decent wage if a company has 10 illegals working for minimum wage why would they pay you more. If you live in middle America you might think your safe but I was working at a SMALL factory about 15 years ago in a small town in Ohio when the got busted with 40 illegals working there. so how do we fix it.
1.If a company is found to have illegal aliens working for them the company will be SOLD with the proceeds being split 50/50 with half going to the government to pay for enforcement and the other half going to the company's non management (including human resources) workers who are Legal citizens, this will give american workers incentive to turn in the companies that employ illegals.
2. Hospitals will no longer be required to care for illegals over the age of 12. If an illegal comes in pregnant they will be taken to a deportation center and if the baby is born here they will NOT be granted citizenship. If a child under the age of 12 they will be cared for just long enough to get deported.
3. Guard stations will be set up 1 mile apart on all borders with each station having 5 armed guards ,4 ATV's and infer red moniters 1 will man the post and the other 4 men will rotate in both directions at equal timing the borders on 4 wheelers this will ensure complete vision of the entire border at all times and the costs can be recouped from the sale of items on the people caught like weapons,jewelry, and vehicles. Anyone spoted will be warned 1 time before they cross, 1 time after then either shot or subdued and returned to where they came from.
4. any individual found to either employ,harbor or transport illegal aliens will have their property involved in the crime siezed and sold with the proceeds being split 90/10 90% going to the government to pay for border patrols and 10% being split between the persons turning them in and the non management agents that arrested,detained,or deported the illegal.
Of course non of these will happen under our current system of politics because THEY have nothing to gain Their medical costs are paid for by you and me and if they want more $ they just give it to themselves so if you want it to change you have to help change it. Help get common average working class americans elected into positions of power in our government where they will vote for Americans best interest not their own.

Whats wrong with- political pay
OK I know I said this would be a WEEKLY blog but since yesterday was just an intro I decided to go ahead and drop the 2nd one today. todays topic is on political pay what is wrong with it and how it can be fixed( it will not be fixed with the guys in office now we need real americans with real american problems).
Now I agree that if a politician is doing a good job they should be compensated actually if they were doing a good job I would think they were underpaid considering a below average pro football player makes more that the president, but the problem is we pay them even while they do a bad job. Worse yet we pay them even after they do such a bad job that we replace them (its like you getting caught stealing at work , them firing you, and you still getting paid for the rest of your life). But we the taxpayers are the ones suffering because its cheaper just to leave 1 lazy crook in office than it is to pay him the rest of his life and hire anouther lazy crook. We are forced to pay their pensions,heathcare,and depending on the office secret service costs.
If you all remember a few years ago the government took the pensions and healthcare away from all the GM and Delphi retirees because they filed bankruptcy this easily affected 1% of the american population if you count all the other parts manufacturers and companies that had to give back to companies to keep them from doing the same thing.
Now on to how we could fix it with a group of honest average americans in office
1. when they leave office stop paying them period make them live off the same socail security they expect you to. Why should they bankrupt the US government and get a pension when they say the workers at GM and others dont deserve a pension.
2. Make them hire their own security after they leave office. The way I look at it, if they did the right things in office they shouldn't need security after they leave.
3. when they leave office or are forced out have COBRA send them a letter offering them the same crappy coverage at the same high costs that we get offered.
Thats it for this week, next weekend my topic will be immigration ,whats wrong with it and what we can do to fix it.

whats wrong with- my first post "intro"
Hi everyone , My name is Shane O'Leary. I am an average american teetering on the edge of lower middle class and I am tired of the people we elect to protect us( Republican and Democrats alike) trying to push me over the edge into poverty.
I decided to start this blog for several reasons:
1. To point out the problems of the United States laws,ways of doing business,etc
2. To inform you if possible of one or more ways to solve the problems found, there is no reason complaining about something if you dont have a solution
3. To raise funds to get average americans that understand our problems get elected .If we keep electing the same wealthy guys we have been our problems will never go away. The guys in office have no clue as to life in the real world
I am no grammer student for sure so my spelling and punctuation may be wrong sometimes but I will do my best to ensure my solutions wont be.
This will be a weekly blog with next weeks blog talking about political pay and benifits
and for the donations I will be listing weekly the amount in the fund and if any gets used where it went (I would love to have a program to list it in the sidebar)
